Geospatial Data Analysis

Navigator Geospatial Course Logo

We all have devices in our pockets which make previous generations of supercomputers look like toys. There’s thousands of satellites orbiting the earth, collecting data - and including GNSS satellites facilitating precise locations. The amount of data tied to places available now is simply too large to comprehend - and we have the computing power available to use it.

This course aims to give you the skills necessary to use these kinds of data. We’ll start by going over some background information on the different kinds of data, and how to work with it, before getting into a bit more depth on some of how it can be used with the programming language Python in particular. By the end, you should have a strong foundation, and should be ready to take the next steps yourself - exploring what you want to do.
